Toc H Queensland Policies

Our Policies

Toc H Queensland's commitment to safe, ethical, and accountable practice

Safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do

Toc H Queensland is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments for everyone who participates in our programs and activities — particularly children and young people.

As a volunteer organisation working with children across Queensland, we are subject to the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld) and are actively implementing Queensland's 10 Child Safe Standards. Our policies reflect this commitment and are being developed in accordance with guidelines published by the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC).

Our policies are reviewed regularly by the Toc H Queensland board and updated as our programs and obligations evolve.

Organisational Policies

The following policies govern how Toc H Queensland operates and how we keep the people we work with safe. Our Child Safety Policy covers all three areas below. Additional standalone documents will be added as they are developed.

Queensland's Child Safe Standards

Queensland's Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 requires organisations that work with children to implement 10 Child Safe Standards. These standards apply to Toc H Queensland across all of our programs and activities.

The standards are overseen by the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC), which provides free resources and guidance to help organisations of all sizes meet their obligations.
